Hello from Mineral Store!
Tony and Jude Forsyth have lived in bayside Brisbane, Australia for almost 40 years. Tony has been an avid mineral collector for close to 50! Their trading venture - the "Mineral Store" business allows them to bring a large selection of minerals and finely crystallised specimens, collected over many years, to the market. Tony has been a past president of the Mineralogical Society of Queensland and is also the current Honorary Curator of the Minerals Heritage Museum located within the Queensland Museum at Southbank in Brisbane so has a wealth of knowledge to share.
Tony is recognised for his dedication to the promotion of mineral collecting and our mineral heritage

On June 12th 2017, Tony was proud to receive the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for "Service promoting mineral collecting and Australia's mineral heritage" in the 2017 Queen's Birthday honours. News Article: Dedication recognised in Queens Birthday Honours

Tony's passion for minerals and collecting means that you will always get sound advice and quality specimens at fair prices. Please feel free to contact us if you have a special mineral requirement, a collection to be appraised or that special specimen.

Our next show is the Toowoomba Lapidary Club Gemfest

We travel overseas and within Australia to select the very best specimens for our stock
The world famous Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil show is held in Arizona USA every year. We attend for almost a month each year to select the very best pieces that mineral dealers and miners from around the world have to offer. This year we imported over 800kgs of high quality specimens! If you wish to view our display, then please phone or email to make an appointment. (We also attended the St Marie show in Alsace, France in June 2017 and 2019 and Munich in 2018).

Specimens from the John and Sandy Roe collection!
We have purchased a collection of fine minerals from long time Tasmanian collectors, John and Sandy Roe of Queenstown, Tasmania! To look through the portfolio of John and Sandy's specimens, please follow this link.
